USDC Anywhere lets you supply and borrow USDC on Moonwell from multiple blockchain networks. It makes moving your USDC across chains simple, so you can earn interest or access borrowing power on Base no matter where your USDC starts.

Normally, using a lending market means first bridging your assets to the right network yourself, which adds steps and friction. USDC Anywhere folds that into a single flow: supply from another chain and your position lands on Base automatically, or borrow on Base and receive the USDC on the chain you choose.

USDC Anywhere is powered by Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), which enables secure, native USDC transfers between supported networks.

The key idea: you can supply USDC from any supported network and have it credited to your Base account, and you can borrow USDC on Base and receive it on your chosen destination network.

USDC Anywhere works only with native USDC. Bridged versions are not supported.

To check whether you have native USDC, look at the token contract address on the source chain. Native USDC uses the official Circle contract address for that chain.

All lending and borrowing occurs on Base. Even when you supply USDC from Ethereum or another network, your position lives on the Base lending protocol. The cross-chain bridge transfers your USDC to Base automatically.

This means your interest, collateral, and borrow tracking all stay on Base, even though the USDC may have started or ended somewhere else.

Each cross-chain transfer costs roughly 0.4 USDC. This fee comes from Circle's CCTP protocol.

Which USDC works with this feature?

Only native USDC, identified by Circle's official contract address on each chain. Bridged variants like USDbC won't work.

Where does my position live?

Always on Base, regardless of the network you supplied from or borrowed to.

How long do transfers take?

It depends on the network, from about a minute to around 20 minutes.

What is the fee?

Roughly 0.4 USDC per cross-chain transfer, from Circle's CCTP.
